Hello and welcome to my personal blog on Universal Design for Learning, Instructional, and Assistive Technology.
For those of you who do not know me, I’m an Instructional Technology Consultant out of Lexington, KY. This basically means I specialize in technology that teaches. I do this in a variety of ways, but most of my time is applied to consulting and training on Assistive Technology for students with disabilities, emerging technologies to support professional development, Universal Design for Learning principals and a host of other things. My focus is on integrating research based practices into the work I do and helping others ensure that what they are doing works. I like to say that I specialize in assisting folks bridge the gap between operation of technology and actual implementation. I speak nationally on these topics at a variety of conferences each year and always enjoy working with a diverse group of folks to tackle tough problems.
I spend around 3/4 of my time working with the Central KY Special Education Coop (www.cksec.org) in Lexington, KY and the remainder consulting with a diverse group of organizations. So if there’s ever anything I can be of assistance with just let me know.

Hi, Jason,
This blog is terrific! I recommended it to my daughter and son-in-law, who both use a lot of technology in their jobs.
Let’s have lunch one day. Your new office is not far at all from mine!
